Hinckley, Allen & Snyder’s William Fish Jr. sees a changing landscape due to the global pandemic that includes representing individuals and entities looking to acquire distressed businesses.

“In terms of opportunities, the biggest one in my practice area is representing those seeking to acquire businesses that are in distress,” said Fish, whose practice areas run the gamut and includes complex commercial litigation, real estate and the First Amendment. “More than a few companies have been materially harmed by the pandemic and being able to acquire those businesses is a real opportunity for clients and hence for us. I expect that trend to continue.”
