Norton Rose Fulbright on Thursday named Houston partner Shauna Clark as its next global and U.S. chair, which the firm says will make her the sole woman of color to chair an Am Law 200 firm.

Clark will succeed Durban partner Andrew Robinson in the global role, which rotates across regions annually, and San Antonio partner George Scofield in the U.S. role, which has a four-year term. Clark, who has been at the firm since 1994, will assume both roles on Jan. 1.
