New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie Former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie Daily Record NorthJersey.com

"The WaPo story tonight saying I have been asked to help prepare for any interview with Bob Mueller is dead wrong. I have not been asked by anyone to do anything of the sort. The story is wrong," Christie said in his tweet.

Christie had not tweeted since, at least from that account, as of Tuesday.

In the list of questions sent to Sheridan, the Law Journal asked whether Christie is actually practicing law and, if so, what type of law; whether he has any clients; what the transition back to practice has been like; and whether he had to reactivate his license.Christie was the U.S. attorney for New Jersey under President George W. Bush from 2002 until 2008, when he left to successfully run for two terms as governor. There had been speculation that he would run for president in 2012, but he decided not to. Instead, he ran for president in 2016 and, ultimately, along with a field of other Republicans, lost out to Trump. Before his time in the U.S. Attorney's Office, Christie practiced at Dughi Hewit & Palatucci in Cranford.
