A South Florida litigant is raising an alarm in her countersuit against Wells Fargo Bank and two law firms, which she said recklessly pursued a wrongful foreclosure against her, despite her repeated efforts to point out their error.

Miami-Dade resident Donna Bragassa filed a counterclaim against Wells Fargo and law firms eXL Legal PLLC and McGuireWoods for seeking to foreclose on her condominium. Her counterclaim alleges recklessness and malicious prosecution. It alleges the bank and attorneys pursuing a foreclosure should have known they were wrong, but continued to litigate, allegedly causing Bragassa losses and embarrassment.
