The U.S. Supreme Court seems inclined to lift a lower court order barring potentially thousands of Biden administration officials from contacting social media platforms about “misinformation” online. 

Yet in a second case involving similar claims of government coercion, the court appeared more open to the National Rifle Association’s argument that an ex-New York regulator violated its First Amendment right to free speech by pressuring insurers and banks to cut ties with the gun group after a school shooting.
