A veteran River Edge, New Jersey, attorney was admonished by consent by the New Jersey Supreme Court this week after a random audit revealed three recordkeeping violations, according to the state high court’s order.

Joseph M. Colella was the subject of a random audit in January 2019, according to a letter issued by the Disciplinary Review Board. That audit revealed six recordkeeping violations. At the conclusion of the audit, Colella certified that he corrected the deficiencies found by the auditor. The Office of Attorney Ethics then closed the matter.
