Linklaters has ended its COVID-19 salary freeze and Clifford Chance is set to follow suit next month, in the latest sign of an easing of pandemic measures across the industry.
According to a person close to the firm, Linklaters decided to conclude its staff salary freeze in the last few months, and paid staff back retroactively by back-dating salary rises to the start of May.
