Direct-to-consumer mattress-maker Purple Innovation has hired veteran in-house leader Tricia McDermott as its chief legal and risk officer, replacing longtime legal chief Casey McGarvey.
The company announced in a securities filing this week that McGarvey, who led Purple’s legal department since 2010, will transition to an advisory role on Oct. 23, when McDermott starts.
