Bingham Poaches Pillsbury IP Talent

Bingham McCutchen has poached Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman partner William Abrams, who until recently headed the firm's IP litigation team. Pillsbury still has a sizeable IP practice group of 180 lawyers, Vernon Granneman, head of litigation in Pillsbury's Palo Alto office said. But some observers don't take such a rosy view. Pillsbury has seen at least four other partners leave in the past two months from its offices in California.
