Jaan M. Haus is a partner in the environmental group handling litigation, regulatory compliance and transactional matters, including contaminated site remediation, and complex business and real estate matters. Haus also is experienced assisting clients with procuring environmental insurance policies. He counsels clients in complex state and federal environmental litigation matters, including CERCLA, the Spill Act and insurance recovery. Haus is a steering committee member of the Licensed Site Remediation Professional Association and co-chairmain of the New York City Brownfields Partnership Insurance and Risk Management Committee. Peter M. Perkowski Jr. is a partner in Riker Danzig’s insurance and litigation groups, focusing on coverage and insurance defense matters, representing insurers and insureds in various disputes, particularly legal malpractice and personal injury claims. He regularly advises clients on coverage and indemnity issues. He has argued extensively in state and federal courts, both trial and appellate. Perkowski serves as a pro bono attorney for Partners for Women and Justice and formerly clerked for Morris County Superior Court Judge David S.
