Morristown-based Riker Danzig Scherer Hyland & Perretti welcomed lateral associate Shivang S. Gandhi, as well as a group new associates: Desiree McDonald, Karimah Munem, and Andrew Raimondi. The latter group joins fall associate Michael Caracappa, who started with the firm last Sept. 14.
Caracappa joined the insurance and reinsurance group. He received his J.D. in 2018 from Seton Hall University School of Law, where he was associate editor of the Seton Hall Law Review and the senior notes editor of the Seton Hall Legislative Journal. He graduated from Montclair State University in 2015 with a B.A. in jurisprudence and political science. He clerked for New Jersey Supreme Court Associate Justice Walter F. Timpone from 2018-2019 and for U.S. Magistrate Judge Zahid N. Quraishi of the U.S. District Court for District of New Jersey from 2019-2020. Caracappa is licensed in New Jersey and New York.
