With the deadline to pay or post bond looming just days away, a federal judge denied former President Donald Trump’s request to stay enforcement of the eight-figure judgment rendered against him following a January defamation trial.

Trump argued that he needed a stay on the $83.3 million jury award in former advice columnist E. Jean Carroll’s lawsuit against him to give him more time to make bond arrangements before the judgment becomes final, which could be as early as March 11.
