What are your proudest accomplishments in the area of diversity and inclusion in law? I am very proud of what we have achieved so far with the DEI General Counsel Bootcamp. I believe that the program has given people access to really valuable resources and advice, particularly our external guests who are some of the most experienced GCs across the world. Our ultimate goal is to provide participants with a lifetime network they can use to their advantage as they navigate their own paths to general counsel roles and beyond.

What are the greatest diversity and inclusion-related challenges today for New York lawyers and firms? One of the most important initiatives we undertake as a firm is advancing diversity through our recruiting efforts. We want our lawyers to reflect the diversity of our communities. As a result, we are constantly striving to promote LGBTQ+ visibility in our recruiting efforts and are committed to advancing diversity and equity of opportunity within the firm, ensuring that everything from recruiting to career development is done in an equitable, inclusive way. A diversity of backgrounds, experiences and ideas enhances our ability to provide creative solutions tailored to our clients’ needs.
