U.S. District Judge Gregory H. Woods of the Southern District of New York handed down a judgment awarding restaurant employees and their attorneys more than $5.7 million for labor law violations and discrimination.
Lawyer Maimon Kirschenbaum said the judgment, obtained by Joseph & Kirschenbaum attorneys Joseph Nussbaum and Lucas Buzzard, might be the largest against a restaurant in New York state history.
