Attorneys from the Wigdor law firm on Friday formally accused Rich Azzopardi, a spokesman for former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, of retaliation after he tweeted that a lawsuit on behalf of a state trooper was among attempts at “cheap cash extortions” against Cuomo.

In an amended complaint, the lawyers said that Azzopardi’s tweet was another example of “bully tactics” by Cuomo’s inner circle, meant to dissuade their client from pursuing her legal rights.
