The Oswego County District Attorney on Monday became the fifth local prosecutor’s office to announce that it would not seek to charge Andrew Cuomo with sexual misconduct.

In a statement issued on Monday, Oswego County DA Gregory Oakes commended accuser Virginia Limmiatis for having the “bravery” to explain her allegations against the former governor to the New York Attorney General’s office during its investigation into Cuomo, as well as making herself available to his office, while knowing that Cuomo “would use his bully-pulpit to deny the allegations and perhaps attempt to discredit her.”
