Rockland County’s election board says voters will have more time Saturday and Sunday to cast their ballot early in this year’s general election, a move that comes after the New York Civil Liberties Union filed a lawsuit over long lines at polling sites.

Early voting locations in the Hudson Valley county will now be open until 4:30 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday, a move that adds two and a half hours each day to poll sites, according to the county board of elections.
