In an opening statement on Monday, Walgreens attorney Steven Derringer cited statements on the attorney general's office website in 2018 and 2019 that drug manufacturers, such as Purdue Pharma, misrepresented the risks of opioids to pharmacies. "We agree with the attorney general about this," he told jurors, according to a broadcast by Courtroom View Network.
