The city of San Francisco’s opioid trial begins next week against two drug companies and one pharmacy after a fourth defendant reached a $10 million settlement Wednesday.

San Francisco City Attorney David Chiu, at a press conference Wednesday, announced that drug manufacturer Endo had reached an agreement. But a bench trial before U.S. District Senior Judge Charles Breyer is set to begin in San Francisco against manufacturer Teva and its distributor subsidiary Anda, AbbVie Inc.’s Allergan and Walgreen’s.
