Cisco Systems, a global provider of IT networking and cybersecurity services, and Acacia Communications Inc. sued Ramot at Tel Aviv University Ltd. Tuesday in Delaware District Court. The suit, filed by Morris, Nichols, Arsht & Tunnell and Duane Morris, seeks a declaratory judgment of non-infringement in connection with a single patent related to ‘converting digital data into modulated optical signals.’ Attorneys have not yet appeared for the defendant.
