KDB Mechanical filed a lawsuit against its former president Thursday in Delaware Court of Chancery alleging $11 million in damages due to self-dealing and fraud. The suit, brought by Greenberg Traurig and Heyman Enerio Gattuso & Hirzel, contends that Doug Makosy purposefully allowed KDB to enter into ‘financially detrimental’ transactions in order to enrich himself and his current employer, Clark Construction Group. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 2023-0262, KDB Mechanical LLC f/k/a Kirlin Design Build, LLC v. Doug Makosy.
