IT and cybersecurity company Cisco Systems and its subsidiary Acacia Communications Inc. sued Ramot at Tel Aviv University Ltd. Tuesday in Delaware District Court over patent claims. The lawsuit, filed by Duane Morris and Morris, Nichols, Arsht & Tunnell, seeks a declaration of noninfringement of a single patent in connection with a method for converting digital data into modulated optical signals. Ramot at Tel Aviv sued Cisco earlier today in Texas Eastern District Court over a similar issue. The case is 1:22-cv-00674, Cisco Systems, Inc. et al v. Ramot at Tel Aviv University Ltd.
