Startups on the cutting edge of artificial intelligence are scooping up deputy-level in-house lawyers these days, especially those with boardroom experience.
Rebecca Boyden, former deputy GC at Broadcom, has joined Sunnyvale, California-based Cerebras Systems as its top lawyer. Boyden, who also served as VP for Corporate Finance while at Broadcom, will similarly adopt a VP role in addition to her new general counsel duties.
