As the California Consumer Privacy Act took effect last year, the New Belgium Brewing Co.’s legal, business and information technology departments gathered, and began brainstorming compliance solutions. 

What they ultimately came up with, over the course of several months, is an elegant and cost-effective way to manage CCPA data without onerous and repetitive emails between the various arms of the business. The system also has the potential to adapt to new consumer privacy laws and regulations coming out of other states.
