Patricia Timmons-Goodson, a retired North Carolina Supreme Court associate justice, is set to become the next dean of North Carolina Central University School of Law, one of the six Historically Black Colleges and University law schools.
Timmons-Goodson succeeds Malik Edwards, who became interim dean on July 5, following the death of Browne Cornell Lewis, who had been dean since July 1, 2020.
