It's a tough moment for leaders of large law firms. They're immediately focused on steering their firms through the obstacles posed by inflation and shrinking economic output, and these pressures demand tough choices on talent management. Rightsizing, both with regard to attorneys and professionals, is one such decision point, and the specter of large group departures looms as an ever-present threat.
