Kenneth Baronsky joined Sidley Austin as a partner in the firm’s corporate practice group. Baronsky’s practice focuses on advising companies, private equity sponsors, executives, owners and board members. Previously, he was a partner at Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCoy. He will be based in the Century City office.
Fisher & Phillips hired Nathan Low as an associate in its San Francisco office. Low’s practice focuses on wage and hour class and collective actions, single-plaintiff claims, retaliation and wrongful termination claims. Previously, he was an associate at Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton.
Hale Boggs joined O’Melveny & Myers as a partner in the mergers and acquisitions practice. Boggs advises venture capital funds and portfolio companies on transactions. Previously, he was partner at Manatt, Phelps & Phillips. He will be based in the Century City office.
Glenn Solomon and Daron Tooch joined King & Spalding as partners in the health care department. Solomon’s practice focuses on complex business and corporate litigation, arbitration and dispute resolution. Tooch’s practice focuses on health care litigation, and he represents health care providers in a variety of litigation, transactions and disputes. Previously, Solomon and Tooch were partners Hooper Lundy & Bookman. Both attorneys will be based in the firm’s Los Angeles office.
Kaufman Dolowich & Voluck brought on Arif Virji as a partner and Michael McConathy as counsel. Virji will be part of the labor and employment and professional liability group and will co-manage the San Francisco office. McConathy’s practice focuses on labor and employment, professional liability and business litigation. Previously, Virji was partner and McConathy was of counsel at Lynch, Gilardi & Grummer.
LeClairRyan brought on William Bogdan and Peter Day as partners in its San Francisco office. Bogdan will be part of the construction and litigation and employment practices. Day will be part of the privacy and data security, blockchain technologies, white collar and financial services litigation practices. Bogdan had been a partner at Lynch Gilardi. Day had served as privacy officer and deputy chief information security officer at the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco.
