Simpson Thacher & Bartlett is adding an energy and infrastructure partner from Milbank in Los Angeles as the firm continues a push into the practice.
Javad Asghari joined Simpson Thacher focusing on major energy and infrastructure projects in the Americas and globally, the firm said Monday. In the last three years, the firm said, he has advised on the acquisition or disposition of more than 85 energy projects totaling more than 14 gigawatts.
