An embattled lawyer and former Sacks Weston Diamond associate facing sentencing for a federal fraud charge next month received a temporary suspension from the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania on Thursday for his criminal conviction.

In June, Los Angeles attorney Jesse M. Cohen was charged with one count of mail fraud and one count of wire fraud by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania in a litigation scheme with Scott Diamond of Philadelphia, who also practiced at Sacks Weston Diamond, as a partner.
