Big Law hiring continues in Houston, with Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom adding a Haynes and Boone energy litigator, and Simpson Thacher & Bartlett hiring a Kirkland & Ellis tax partner.
Michelle Scheffler, who had been a co-chair of the oil and gas practice group at Haynes and Boone, joined Skadden as a litigation partner on Thursday. Also, Adam Arikat, a Kirkland tax partner in Dallas, joined Simpson Thacher as a partner in the tax department in Houston on Wednesday.
