A Travis County district judge will strike wrongful foreclosure claims the developer Nate Paul filed against his lender and other defendants, according to an email from the court to defendants’ counsel.
Paul, whose relationship with suspended Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton is at the center of the ongoing impeachment trial in the Texas Senate, lost multiple commercial real estate properties to foreclosure in June 2021. Since then, Paul, through special purpose entities, has tied up their status through court filings.
