In the latest Big Law lateral grab, Baker Botts picked up Simpson Thacher & Bartlett energy and private equity lawyer Brad Honeycutt, who joined as a partner in the corporate department in Houston.
Also in Houston, former Texas Supreme Court Justice Eva Guzman, who is seeking the Republican nomination for attorney general of Texas, joined Chamberlain, Hrdlicka, White, Williams & Aughtry on Wednesday as a shareholder in the litigation, appellate and Texas tax controversy practices.
