Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld continues to raid competitor Paul Hastings, with the firm hiring financial restructuring lawyer Avi Luft as a partner in New York. Luft, who joined Akin on Tuesday, was of counsel at Paul Hastings.
Within the last month in New York, Akin has hired two Paul Hastings partners: Bill Brady and Scott Colton. Both joined Akin’s special situations and private credit practice.
