Longview trial firm Sorey & Gilliland has opened an office in Waco, joining several other Texas firms with intellectual property practices that have been lured to the city because of U.S. District Judge Alan Albright’s intellectual property expertise.
“I do a lot of IP, and especially as we come out of COVID, and more [then] starts to come out of court, it will be valuable,” partner Derek Gilliland said about the office that opened June 15.
