Malaysia may let foreign law firms operate in the country for the first time to strengthen international confidence in the its legal process, the law minister said Monday. Domestic law companies have long enjoyed protection against competition from overseas firms, but liberalization will soon be necessary to help attract more investments from abroad, minister Zaid Ibrahim told a news conference.
