A 2-year-old debate over police use of seized and stockpiled drugs to conduct reverse sting operations could continue in Georgia's appellate courts. The Georgia Court of Appeals refused to overturn two lower court decisions involving arrests made when undercover officers sold drugs to unsuspecting buyers. But defense lawyers in one of the cases hope to get the state supreme court to take another look at the issue.

In a move sure to gladden consultants preaching the virtues of cross-selling, O'Melveny partner Mark Holscher, who negotiated Lee's release in September, passed the scientist to an IP partner who helped negotiate a deal for a four-hour TV miniseries.
