A Fla. office furniture maker and retailer is accusing the Brookstone Co., famous for its sundry luxury products, of stealing some of its product names. The Levenger Co., which sells office-furniture and related products via the Internet and a catalog, filed suit in Miami federal court against Brookstone for alleged trademark violations. The dispute centers on two of Levenger's products: the Lap Desk, which the company registered in November 1996, and the Reader's Table, a portable desk.
