In 2003, Michael R. Moebes, then a third-year law student at Georgia State University, served five months in the Persian Gulf with the Tennessee Air National Guard. Moebes graduated from GSU, became an associate at Drew Eckl & Farnham, and in early 2007 joined the in-house legal team at Liberty Mutual Group. Last September, Moebes returned to Iraq to serve another tour. On his blog, Moebes, who is married with two daughters -- ages 15 months and 12 years -- wrote about spending Christmas in Iraq.
