Dewey Estate Sues Over $5.7 Million Spent as Firm Faded

A slow summer on the Dewey & LeBoeuf bankruptcy docket picked up a bit Friday with the estate's liquidation trustee filing a batch of suits against law firms and others paid various sums by the firm in the 90 days before it sought Chapter 11 protection. Former partners who haven't yet settled with the firm are also being pursued with demand letters.
