Among the first cases Roberts will hear should he reach the Supreme Court is what might turn out to be the most significant abortion decision in years. It will be the first abortion case the Court considers since President George W. Bush took office -- and Roberts, along with Justice Anthony Kennedy, will likely determine the outcome.
