Entrust Faces Suits Over EnCommerce

Eleven law firms have filed shareholder lawsuits against Entrust Technologies Inc., claiming that the Plano, Texas, Internet security company delayed disclosing poor earnings results in order to keep its acquisition of enCommerce Inc. on track. Entrust executives vowed to fight the "meritless" suits, saying they advised shareholders immediately upon confirming that Entrust would miss estimates.
