The New Jersey Women Lawyers Association held its seventh annual Women’s Initiative and Leaders in the Law (WILL) Platinum Gala March 25 at The Grove in Cedar Grove, with U.S. Magistrate Judge Madeline Cox Arleo as mistress of ceremonies. The bar group honored five individuals and a law firm with WILL Awards for their sustained contributions to gender equity challenges and other issues unique to women in the profession: U.S. Third Circuit Judge Patty Shwartz, Essex County Assignment Judge Patricia Costello,Partners for Women and Justice co-founder and executive director Jane Hanson, Avaya Inc. general counsel and chief administrative officer Pamela Craven, retired Appellate Division Judge Dorothea Wefing and the law firm of Adams, Gutierrez & Lattiboudere.
