A judge has brought up to date a 30-year-old New Jersey Supreme Court ruling that allows broker-drafted residential real estate contracts to be rescinded during a three-day attorney-review period.
The court, in the seminal 1983 decision, specified that rescission had to be communicated by certified mail, telegram or personal delivery.
