Beached — A former Monmouth Beach police officer fired after an on-air scrap with a Jersey Shore cast member can’t seem to get his day in court — any court.

Joshua Thomas lost his job after MTV showed him exchanging blows with Ronald Ortiz Magro in 2009 on the Seaside Heights Boardwalk. He first sued Monmouth Beach in Monmouth County Superior Court, claiming he was wrongly fired without a hearing. Judge Lawrence Lawson dismissed the suit in November 2010, finding Thomas, as a probationary officer, had no right to a hearing. Then his lawyer, Parsippany solo David Heintjes, decided to withdraw.
