Party City of Rockaway announced on March 1 its purchase of iParty in Dedham, Mass., for about $35 million in cash. Both are party-supply retailers.
Ferry Bought by Atlantic Capes
Cape May scallop and seafood harvester Atlantic Capes Fisheries announced on Feb. 28 it paid about $275,000 to acquire The Rhododendron, a former passenger ferry, from Washington State Ferries, a division of the Washington State Division of Transportation in Olympia, Wash.

AdvantEdge Healthcare Solutions, a health-care financial services provider in Warren, on March 6 announced its acquisition of Hill Associates, a medical-billing company in Plaistow, N.H.
Aurigen USA Makes Acquisition
Aurigen Capital in Hamilton, Bermuda, announced on March 4 that its subsidiary, Aurigen USA Holdings in Red Bank, would acquire Brokers National Life Assurance Company from Ameritas Life Insurance, both of Lincoln, Neb. All provide life insurance services.
Pitney Bowes Unit Acquired
Private equity firm Lion Equity Partners in Denver on March 1 announced its acquisition of global mail provider International Mail Services in Newark, a division of postage and mailing supplier Pitney Bowes in Stamford, Conn. International Mail has been renamed IMEX Global Solutions, with headquarters remaining in Newark.
GAIN Capital Acquires FX Solutions
FX Solutions in Saddle River announced Feb. 22 it has been acquired by GAIN Capital Holdings in Bedminster. Both provide foreign-exchange services.
