The Office of Attorney Ethics is seeking an attorney to serve as a volunteer Secretary to District VA (Essex-Newark) and District VC (West Essex County) Fee Arbitration Committee commencing immediately.
Consistent with Rule 1:20A, the District Fee Arbitration Committee (DFAC) Secretary screens fee arbitration requests received from members of the public and the bar, administers the process and workload of the Committee, and answers telephone calls and written inquiries from members of the public and bar regarding the attorney disciplinary process. Candidates must maintain an office within the district.
