Four recent judicial appointments to the New Jersey Superior Court in Passaic Vicinage has lightened the load of the judicial vacancy crisis to the point that Chief Justice Stuart Rabner has lifted the moratorium on civil and matrimonial trials, according to an announcement Monday.

On March 18, four new Passaic County judges were confirmed to the bench by a unanimous New Jersey Senate, among eight other judges to other county vacancies. They include: Ronda Casson Cotroneo, a solo practitioner; Joy-Michelle Johnson, the outgoing executive director of the New Jersey Ethics Commission; William E. Marsala, of counsel with Gallo Vitucci Klar; and Elissa Mizzone Testa, an administrative law judge.
