The New Jersey Supreme Court on Thursday issued 66 orders on petitions, certifications and motions in matters entered as a result of a Sept. 19 conference. Of those, certification was granted in three cases, one of which was granted to a pro se appellant in a medical malpractice case dismissed with prejudice over an affidavit of merit.

In the medical malpractice action, Moschella v. Hackensack Meridian Jersey Shore University Medical Center, the plaintiff brought her claim under the Wrongful Death Act in Monmouth County Superior Court. Candace A. Moschella is the administratrix of the estate of her daughter, Alexandrianna Lowe, who died on July 22, 2018, at Hackensack Meridian Jersey Shore University Medical Center.
