Edwin H. Stern, a former ranking appeals judge in New Jersey who sat temporarily on the state Supreme Court, joined Pashman Stein Walder Hayden in Hackensack as special counsel in the ADR and appellate advocacy practices. Stern, previously with Borteck & Czapek, spent 30 years on the bench, including seven years as the Appellate Division’s presiding judge for administration.
At Pashman Stein, he’ll arbitrate and mediate chancery and civil matters; advise clients on appellate matters; review briefs and other filings; and conduct moot courts. He is on the roster of arbitrators for the American Arbitration Association.
