The Senate Judiciary Committee unanimously released six nominations of judges to the Superior Court, including four nominations for especially hard-hit Bergen County, and one nomination each for Salem and Somerset, where all civil and matrimonial trials remain shut down.
Bergen County looks to add attorney Amy E. Lefkowitz, Assistant Bergen County Prosecutor Nicholas Ostuni Sr., attorney Marc D. Ramundo, and attorney and former Ridgefield Mayor Anthony R. Suarez. Salem County nominee Demetrica Todd-Ruiz, chief judge in the Vineland Municipal Court, and Somerset County nominee Dayla Youssef both cleared committee as well.
